Rules

  1. Divide the grid into exactly two regions.
  2. Each region must be connected horizontally or vertically.
  3. No 2 × 2 area may belong entirely to one region.
  4. A clue counts the cells in its surrounding 3 × 3 area that belong to the same region as the clue cell. The clue cell is included.
  5. The two final colours are interchangeable. Balanced puzzles also require the two regions to have equal sizes, or differ by one cell on an odd grid.
