Rules

1. Divide the grid into exactly two regions.
2. Every cell in each region must be connected horizontally or vertically.
3. No 2 × 2 area may belong entirely to the same region.
4. A clue counts the cells in its surrounding 3 × 3 area that belong to the same region as the clue cell. The clue cell itself is included.
5. The clue colour is unknown. The two final region colours are interchangeable.
6. In Balanced mode, the two regions have equal sizes, or differ by one cell on an odd grid. In Free mode, their sizes may differ.
